Supporting Science and Education
Promega supports future scientists and innovators through scholarships, hands-on learning, career programs, and outreach. Our efforts promote university research, technical education, and science communication—nurturing curiosity, building skills, and expanding access to scientific learning.

Offering Employees Paid Time to Volunteer
The Promega in Action program provides Madison, Wisconsin employees the opportunity to receive up to 40 hours of paid time for volunteering with their chosen organization.

Partnering for Impact
Promega supports mission-aligned organizations and innovative projects that advance scientific research, education, and social good. By contributing to efforts in biotechnology, health, environmental sustainability, and humanitarian relief, we aim to make a positive impact on both society and the planet.

The BioPharmaceutical Technology Center Institute (BTC Institute) is a not-for-profit organization that provides educational opportunities for a wide range of learners. Over its 30 year history, BTC Institute has served more than 100,000 students from upper elementary to college and graduate school, as well as teachers and career scientists from academia and industry. BTC Institute also hosts events such as the International Forum on Consciousness aimed at bringing together multidisciplinary experts and engaged members of the community.

Promega Art Showcase
Hosted on the Promega Madison campus for more than 25 years, the Art Showcase is a quarterly exhibit featuring the work of local and international painters, photographers, sculptors and artists in many other media. The professionally curated exhibitions, which are free and open to the public, offer both well-established and up-and-coming artists a venue for their work, and provide an opportunity for the surrounding community to explore diverse perspectives. Showcase opening symposia consistently attract hundreds of art enthusiasts. An annual Promega employee art show supports a corporate culture that encourages creative expression.

Today’s Learners, Tomorrow’s Leaders
Woods Hollow Children’s Center is located on the main corporate campus and serves Promega employees as well as families from surrounding communities. The nonprofit facility provides early childhood education and care for children 6 weeks to 10 years old and is fully accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). Promega founded Woods Hollow in 1991 and has provided ongoing support ever since.
