RNAgents® Denaturing Solution lyses cells or tissue under conditions that rapidly inhibit ribonucleases, using two potent inhibitors of RNase, guanidine thiocyanate and β-mercaptoethanol. The RNAgents® Denaturing Solution is designed to be used in concert with acidic phenol:chloroform and alcohol (isopropanol) for purification of total RNA.
